In bronze, bearing inscription FOR VALOUR on the obverse, reverse inscribed 459 indicating the production number out of a 1352 medals that were produced, on period ribbon, measuring at 33mm (w) x 38mm (h), in original Hancocks & Co case of issue. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity by Hancocks & Co, 1849.
