and there is certainly wear to the tunic though it remains pretty well intact--I rather love it more for the wear

and I think it very likely portrays Ann on her wedding day (wedding photos would not have been possible

Beautiful Small Two Piece Carved Black Duck curated pottery and outfitsThis lovely old carved wooden duck is small a bit shy of 5 inches long but has quite a wonderful presence and sense of specialness about it, in significant part I think due to the head having been carved from a separate piece of wood than the body, which, together with the sensitive carving of the form, makes me think perhaps caved by a practiced decoy maker.
