James Dunn, American actor Product:Canvas entered Congress as a RepublicanJames Dunn, American actor, 1934 1935. Dunn started his entertainment career in vaudeville before moving into film in the early 1930s. He appeared in three movies with the child star Shirley Temple and won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1945 for his performance in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
