but none of the sides look more recently cut than any of the others

but there are 10 yellow and 10 brown and 10 speckled

At left appears to be a large farm house

The glazing is great too--a purplish-gray that is subtle but cheerful

The year 1855 appears on one plate

Folk Art Pyrographed Flying Pheasant on Fungus Conk cowboy but none of the sidesI found a great fungus conk pyrographed with an owl a month or two ago by the same maker that signed this one, both of which I purchased from the same dealer. As with that one, I love how this flying game bird, a pheasant I would guess, looks rather as if it emerged from the fungus conk itself, always there, and as roughly rendered as the craggy back side of the conk.
