I cannot resist objects like this

with lush cobalt blue hand-painted ginkgo leaf design over white glaze

it would make a very sweet vase for one small bloom

I certainly love interlocking brass letter and number stencils

I especially love the sad face of the headache plagued man and the tattoo like text on the hands pointing to the pain. More or less pristine condition, crisp and clean and with no real signs of use. 5 1 2" x 2 3 4" with flap open. 1940s or 50s I would guess.
