and so certainly am particularly disposed to recognizing the merits (including superior functionality compared to a contemporary plastic one) of a lovely old wire dish drying rack

And then taking it out of the frame to clean the glass, I discovered it dated 1976 (I found it on the day of President Carters funeral, who was inaugurated in 1976) and with this note on reverse: "With god help I begun
