This is perhaps a bit less mineral-driven than it usually is but this aspect may very well become more evident with age

Rich on the attack

There are suggestions of warm earth and herbal tea on the lightly spiced dark currant scented nose

The 2012 Barolo Villero is one of the more successful wines in the range

but I liked its almost sangiovese-like floral quality

Dauzac Vintage:2009 This is perhaps a bitThe 2015 Dauzac has a classy, sophisticated bouquet of blackberry, boysenberry, cedar and light fennel aromas; a floral element emerges with just a few swirls of the glass. The palate is medium bodied with sappy red fruit, fine grip and good acidity. A little viscosity surfaces toward the finish, which leaves a dash of white pepper on the aftertaste.
