Beautiful Old Farrier's Box with Iron Corner Reinforcements desk object I've seen handled bowls ofI believe this is an old farrier box, used for storing and carrying tools for shoeing horses, and certainly it has done a lot of work, with these beautiful iron corner reinforcements added long ago. Hand forged iron nails, original red paint, and a leather strap that once would have adjusted but was fixed in place at some point along the way. Very sturdy and useful still as a carrying box for tools or whatever, but also just a gorgeous object. 13 3 4"
