Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon Trailside Vineyard 2018 NO20230705 with fine a silky tanninsTrailside is one of Heitz Cellar's three single vineyard Cabernets, an 85 acre patchwork of clones and soils tucked between the Silverado Trail and Conn Creek on the eastern side of Rutherford. It's been part of the Heitz estate since 1984 and is now farmed organically. Heitz works it block by block, each lot aging separately through four years in oak before the final blend, in the patient, old school Napa style the house is known for. The 2018 is a
