The blend leans more Merlot than the chteau wine (the grand vin is Cab dominant in classic Saint Estphe fashion), which makes Le Marquis suppler and more approachable in its youth. 2020 is a strong, ripe Bordeaux vintage; this drinks well now with another decade of upside.
