Emerging from summer dormancy in late winter, the lacy foliage is topped during hellebore season with 4" stalks of double white flowers. Although Anemone nemorosa 'Vestal' does spread, it's a plant you wish would spread faster. Moist, rich, woodland soils result in best performance.
